Our Story
This is the story of how the ‘Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy’ met his ‘Killer Queen’.
It was at a party, on Tuesday 13 July 2021, that this ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ brought us together. We talked into the night, under a starlit sky… we both clicked and we both ‘Found Somebody To Love’. By 11 September we declared to each other ‘You’re My Best Friend’ and our ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ began.
‘Flash’ forward to 2022, our long distance romance was an adventure of its own – Buckinghamshire one weekend and Sussex the next. Our mantra, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ kept our love strong, and we soon knew that being apart was not an option… we moved in together and have never looked back. Our shared love of Italy made Rome the perfect destination for our first holiday together, and Italy remains close to our hearts.
Getting to know each other’s families has been exciting, overcoming language barriers and often communicating in the language of ‘Radio Ga Ga’ over a few glasses of vino rosso. These times affirmed our belief that we can create a beautiful blended family of our own, ‘A Kind Of Magic’ waiting to happen.
‘Flash’ forward to 2023, we both agreed ‘I Want To Break Free’, and so we moved into our own flat in Hove. ‘These Are The Days Of Our Lives’… we have started a new chapter filled with love, laughter, and countless sunsets by the sea.
Soon after our move, when on a road trip to Lake Como, our relationship reached a new high. It was on Monday 4 September, before heading out for dinner at San Silvestro (a restaurant with special family ties), that the ‘Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy’ went down on one knee and asked his ‘Killer Queen’ for her hand in marriage. ‘Love Of My Life’ (will you marry me?), he said; ‘I Was Born To Love You’ (yes), she replied… and so they were betrothed.
Since then, our love story has grown even richer. We’ve adopted two adorable kitties, Frank and Willow, and started planning the wedding of our dreams. We are overjoyed to invite you to join us as we celebrate our love, our journey, and the exciting future ahead. We can’t wait to share this special day with you… and one promise… ‘We Will Rock You’!
